Most companies start tracking customers in an Excel sheet and a WhatsApp group. After the first successful ad campaign the sheet has hundreds of rows, every employee has their own copy, and nobody knows when this customer was last contacted or what they said. That is when the search for a CRM begins.
The catch is that most CRMs assume staff will type everything in by hand. In reality, most customer conversations in Egypt happen on the phone and on WhatsApp. That is why Klamna's CRM is built inside the same system that receives the calls and messages.
The customer journey in Klamna, step by step
1. The customer arrives. From a Facebook or Instagram ad, a form on your website, a call or a WhatsApp message. Lead capture records the source and campaign, merges duplicates, and assigns the lead to a person or a team in turn, with a notification.
2. The agent follows up. They call from the customer page or send a WhatsApp message, and the call or chat is logged on the record automatically. They add a note and set a follow-up task with a due date.
3. The customer buys. The lead becomes an account and a contact, gets a quote from your product catalogue, then an invoice. The sales and invoicing module can send invoices to the Egyptian e-invoice system.
4. The customer needs support. A ticket opens with an SLA, business hours and automatic escalation when it runs late, linked to the same record.
5. Management keeps track. The report builder produces reports on leads, sales, tickets and calls, as tables and charts, and e-mails them on a schedule.
